We have included a variety of beautiful 'handwoven' pillows to complement our other pillows. The art of handweaving dates back over 2,000 years in India! The artisans first make a blueprint of the design, identifying the colors and the pattern on the textile. They then use a manual loom to interweave two sets of yarn (called a warp and weft) at right angles. It is an art in itself because it requires meticulous rhythm and hand-eye-feet coordination to stay in complete synchrony with the loom.
